Public meetings and Events

As part of the ongoing celebrations of Westley Middle School's 35th Birthday, the school will be holding a family fun day this Saturday (10th March) at 2pm. This should be a great afternoon for the kids and a fantastic show of support.

We have other schools and parents donating their time and imagination to run free activity stalls, many of which are themed to represent the specialist subjects such as science, art, design & technology, music and sport which middle school children benefit from.

If you or your school or school PTA would like to donate your time to provide an activity and to man that activity during the 2hrs of the event, please let Jill Knell know via the "Contact Us" page as she is coordinating this.

We will also be using this event as our opportunity at 3pm to have the march that couldn't happen in Bury. Please ensure that your school has its banner showing which school your children are representing and we would ask all children to bring along their school sweatshirts to wear during the march so that we get the full 'Olympic Opening Ceremony' effect.

I've attached a flyer that gives some more information - could all middle schools ensure that this goes home in the book bags so that we let as many parents and children know about this as possible?

If anyone has any other questions, please ask.
